Italian Police Revoke Snooki’s Driving License

In a shocking turn of events, Italian police say they have revoked the international driver’s license of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi after the “Jersey Shore” star was in a fender-bender with a police car, according to the Associated Press.
On Wednesday, Florence road safety coordinator Mario Rondinelli told The Associated Press that two policemen were slightly injured but not hospitalized after the minor traffic accident Monday.

The police car was escorting the Jersey Shore vehicle. Rondinelli says no alcohol was involved.

He says Snooki’s international license was revoked because there were injured parties involved. By law, she must wait a minium of 15 days to get it back.

Teen accused in attack of ‘Jersey Shore’ friend, arrested in Staten Island drug bust

The teen accused of attacking a friend of “Jersey Shore” cast-off Angelina Pivarnik, the self-proclaimed “Kim Kardashian of Staten Island,” during a confrontation with the star in the Staten Island Mall last year was busted in a drug raid Friday, according to cops.

Kelsey Balzafiore, 19 — who last October was accused of punching Ms. Pivarnick’s friend Janina Vaiana in the face and busting her lip — was one of four people arrested during a narcotics raid on first-floor apartment in Staten Island, NY The raid, which took place in the Grasmere  neighborhood, early Friday, turned up five quart bags and a zipper bag of marijuana, a prescription bottle with three blue pills stamped “GG 258,” zipper bags with pill fragments, a grinder with marijuana residue, two scales and several empty zipper bags, police allege.

Police also arrested Douglas Afrik, 21, Andrew Benedetto, 18, and Patricia Dias, 55.

All were charged with four counts each of fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and eight counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The dustup with Ms. Pivarnick and Ms. Vaiana took place on Oct. 29, while the reality star and her friend were window-shopping at a Hot Topic store on the Staten Island Mall’s second floor.

Ms. Pivarnick allegedly was harassed and hit in the back of the head during the fracas, but a harassment charge could not be levied because police did not witness the episode, an NYPD spokesman told the Advance shortly after the alleged incident.

Ms. Balzafiore was charged with misdemeanor assault and two lesser counts.

Her case is pending in Stapleton Criminal Court.

She was also arrested in February on a separate misdemeanor drug possession charge. That case is pending as well. “My client maintains her innocence and she’s looking forward to her day in court,” said Bryan Swerling, the attorney for Ms. Balzafiore.
