Yung Joc Denies Connection to Studio Robbery and Fraud

Yung Joc, admidst allegations of insurance fraud, is denying any involvment in the robbery that took place in his  Atlanta recording studio.

Last weekend, Atlanta rapper Yung Joc’s studio  was raided, costing him $70,000 in equipment, he claims. During an interview with WSB TV, he said that he lost unreleased music with Lil Wayne, Pitbull and Jazmine Sullivan and is offering a $2,500 reward for the return of his hard drives.

But some believe the rapper is not telling the truth. They believe he staged the robbery to benefit from the insurance proceeds… I mean, honestly, when was the last time you went to a Yung Joc concert?

The rapper says rumors that he was involved in the robbery are false.

“I’ve been seeing stories where people say this is about insurance fraud.  The truth is, I did not have insurance.  I was in the process of deciding who I wanted an insurance policy with,” said Joc.

He said he’s now essentially starting from scratch.

“It’s a lot of work,” he said.

Atlanta police continue to investigate, but so far, no arrests have been made.
